About Me

I am trying to make the world better by writing free software, supporting the free sharing of knowledge and culture, and advocating for more freedom in general.

My name is Michael Petychakis. I hold a diploma in Electrical and computer engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. During my studies I had a number of honourable distinctions both in competitions and scholarships, always regarding the field of artificial intelligence with focus on description logics and their applications in knowledge bases. At the moment am a phd candidate at the Decision support laboratory, at the school of electrical and computer engineering.

I have been involved in several projects in the area of technological information systems funded by the European union, the greek parliament and other public or private sector companies. I have a vast experience in designing and implementing information systems for scaling. 

I have knowledge in the scientific areas of designing and implementing information systems, knowledge representation, graph databases, semantic web and artificial intelligence.

Currently running the APILama web source for APIs.
