Twitter predicts future of stocks

A couple of days ago a really good friend of mine, told me to check this article:
BBC News - Twitter predicts future of stocks
As I was reading the article, I was amazed from the usage of social media to predict the future of stock market!
Most of us, already know the story about using twitter to track the flu around the globe. There is also another example of tracking and predicting the success of a movie at the box office!
Predicting how the money is going to flow, is another story! Is something much more difficult, far more complicated and something that everyone would die for!
I am not yet sure how this method works, or if it works at all... What can I be sure of, is that there are going to be many researchers that are going to run after this idea!
Just track twitter feeds and see the fluctuations of the market...
It would be amazing like a dream.
Whoever discovers it, is going to be the next billionaire!

What is the Semantic Web?

The Semantic Web is an idea of World Wide Web inventor  Tim Berners-Lee  that the Web as a whole can be made more intelligent and perhaps even intuitive about how to serve a user's needs.
